Questions raised over why Arab nations are not taking Gaza refugees

Sky News contributor Evelyn Rae weighs in on Opposition Leader Peter Dutton calling for an end to Gazan refugee arrivals in Australia, questioning why “Arab nations” are not taking them.

“We don’t have the capability to investigate thoroughly or properly whether these particular people coming into our country pose a threat to our own children and our own nation,” Ms Rae said.

“The biggest question here is why are the Arab nations not taking them.

“Are they a threat? Are they deemed to be a problem?”

If Australia is racist for not allowing Palestinians from Gaza into the country, then every other nation, including the Arab countries are also racist.

They are the longest-running refugee in the world, with an office established in the UN just for them, and they have been so for 75 years, which is unparalleled in the world. This is nonsense. It is a strategy chosen to keep the war with Israel alive. Even the name Palestine is a strategic choice that was put into use after the 1960s. If the Western world wants the Arab-Israeli conflict to end, it should stop supporting the nonsense called Palestine and giving it space... As for taking as refugees of Palestinians, it is the most dangerous thing to do because all generations are raised with full hatred against Jews and Western civilization.

The Prime Ministers primary job is to protect the safety of Australians. Not those on the other side of the world. How many countries are between Gaza and Australia? It is a national security issue.
