I've been watching Days on & off since I was four, I'm twenty-four now. I've been watching ;loyally for three years. The most memorable storyline for me has to be the Marlena possession. It brings back so many memories for me. I remember being four years old laying on the living room floor in front of the tv watching with my mother. It scared me but I couldn't stop watching it. Lol I've been a fan ever since.

Thank you so much for the way you didn't give the awful Sami/EJ illness-inducing story line.

I thought we were celebrating 50 years of Days. Why were the first 30 years virtually ignored? Why not just celebrate that it's been on for the last 20 years?

I stopped watching days when Corday and Meng decided murdering Will Horton was something that had to be done.  They no longer were interested in my viewership, and thought courting those who hate to see gays on their daytime tv were more important.  The message they sent was received loud and clear, gays not welcome, those who are ally's to the gay community not welcome either.  My invitation to their 5oth celebration was not issued.  Greg Meng tweeted out on the day Will Horton was strangled 'happy 12000 episode' huh talk about poor taste.  Deidre Hall tweeted a picture of her and Freddie Smith, tears still to be seen in their eyes calling Will's death 'rich story telling' yeah, if your not a fan of Will, I guess so. The execs at Days and NBC are hypocrites and should be forced to return their glaad awards, for which the sent the trio of Freddie Smith, Guy Wilson and Christopher Sean to collect all the while, they were planning on killing off a legacy character who happened to gay, shipping off his husband turning him into the type of guy who would abandoned the little girl he once called daughter and neutering the third gay left by putting him on the back burner.  Why did the murder of Will have to happen at all?  If the ptb's wanted to wipe out all things gay all they had to do was write a happy ending for WilSon by reuniting them in Paris.  Will and Ari could have joined Sonny there.  But no, strangling Will was better for them as it now poses no chance of Will's return.  Arianna is safe in her murdering mothers arms with cousin JJ there to father her.  And those who hated the gay sl safely back in papa Corday's arms. I'll never watch another episode of Days again, I don't care who they bring back.  I'm done supporting a show that won't support all it's viewers.  I wish Afterbuzz tv and it's contemporaries would start asking the real questions of the NBC/Days execs.  I want to know why the Kate Roberts, Theresa Donovan and Victor Kiriakis's of the show can all be redeemed but not a young, emotionally vulnerable young man who fell for a self admitted players games cannot? Boo to Day's hope your party and celebration was worth loosing this loyal fan.
