Thank you for the tutorial! When I attempt the first "twirl" step, part of the edge goes inward, creating some alpha channel in my image that shows through. I started the project from scratch several times to ensure I followed it perfectly. Any ideas where I went wrong?

When creating the gun barrel reflection had you tried just making black and gray stripes then going into the filter gallery, use the halftone filter, then twirl it? Seems like that would be easier than copying so many cityscapes and drawing wavy lines and such. If you are concerned about no trees making the blotches in the reflection, just use the brush tool with a brush that would make blotches and then twirl it all.
