Join us on the first leg of a trip to Australia. We start in Toronto at Pearson International Airport. It's an overcast day typical of a February day in Canada. The airport is not very busy at all for a 1:00 p.m. arrival. It makes checking in with 9 bags relatively easy. Air Canada went out of their way to make our process smooth. We had a great time in the gates, it's easy to kill the time waiting for our flight. Today we are flying a 22 year old AIRBUS A320-200. We are flying economy and yet the legroom at our seat is really impressive. Air Canada has this older jet laid out very comfortably. This makes our 5 and a half hour flight easy. Today's flight is only about 2/3 full and so we are able to stretch out in our row as well. I would recommend definitely taking this flight with Air Canada if routing to Los Angeles from Toronto.

Our flight route is gorgeous and we have an almost perfectly clear flight across to LA. We cross the great lakes of Huron and Superior, Denver and the Colorado Rockies provide breathtaking views. We happen to also cross Las Vegas during the 4th quarter of the Superbowl. The appraoch to Los Angeles at night is beautiful as we route across the whole city from the south to the north where we land.

Toronto Pearson International Airport is an international airport located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It is the main airport serving Toronto, its metropolitan area, and the surrounding region known as the Golden Horseshoe. From delicious restaurants to unique shopping experiences, we’re ready to welcome you to Pearson to start your travel experience on the right foot.

Los Angeles International Airport, commonly referred to as LAX, is the primary international airport serving Los Angeles, California and its surrounding metropolitan area. In 2022, LAX handled 65,924,298 passengers, making it the world's sixth-busiest airport. As the largest and busiest international airport on the West Coast of the United States, LAX is a major international gateway for the country, serving as a connection point for passengers travelling internationally (such as East and Southeast Asia, Australasia, Mexico and Central America). The airport holds the record for the world's busiest origin and destination airport, because relative to other airports, many more travellers begin or end their trips in Los Angeles than use it as a connection.

The Airbus A321 is a member of the Airbus A320 family of short to medium range, narrow-body, commercial passenger twin engine jet airliners;[b] it carries 185 to 236 passengers. It has a stretched fuselage which was the first derivative of the baseline A320 and entered service in 1994, about six years after the original A320. The aircraft shares a common type rating with all other Airbus A320-family variants, allowing previous A320-family pilots to fly the aircraft without the need for further training. As of December 2023, a total of 3,032 A321 airliners have been delivered, of which 2,968 are in service.

Awesome video! Although I'm 6 months late to comment I just wanted to say thanks for documenting this, I was lucky myself to fly on both the older Airbus A321-200's and I was SUPER lucky to fly the newer refurbished A321-200 just this morning on the service to Toronto from Vancouver, super lucky as I believe that is the only refurbished model in the entire fleet of A321-200's as of now (correct me if I'm wrong as that is the last time I checked their fleet)... Unfortunately my flight was a short one as I would've loved a longer flight on the refurbished A321-200 only a short 4hr and 31min. flight.

I wonder why they took such a long route for the taxi. Terminal 6 was near the exit where they vacated the runway but they went on a long taxi route to the west side.
