Atishi to Become Delhi's 3rd Woman Chief Minister, Kejriwal Resigns

Atishi has been unanimously selected by Aam Aadmi Party MLAs to become Delhi's 3rd woman Chief Minister, following Sheila Dikshit and Sushma Swaraj. Her tenure, however, will be brief as Delhi elections are due in early 2025. Alongside Atishi, MLA Mukesh Alawat will also be sworn in as a cabinet minister. This follows a dramatic turn of events where Arvind Kejriwal announced his resignation from the stage.
