Plan Your PhD With Notion (+ Free Template)

Your PhD dissertation is probably one of the biggest academic projects you’ll ever have to tackle so it’s important to make sure you are organizing it properly. As its such a long-term project, you’ll come across a big amount of information, data and references. There are also researching and writing goals you need to keep track of, submission deadlines, peer revision and so forth.

Although you can organize everything in paper format, we’re dealing with complex information here so, as usual, I’m going to recommend that you use a digital tool for that, and I’ll be using Notion for this.

Zotero - automatic data input, extractable highlights, notetaking, export note option. (free)
Obsidian - writing and linking all notes, ideas, concepts and papers in a long document. (free)
Morgen - task and calendar event management, has recurring tasks, and actually works as a calendar (free)

The video i'd like to have had at the beginning of my phd five years ago ^^
I made a little custom database for all my references with bibTeX, and i'm formatting my phd on LaTeX in order to be able to make it generate my indexes for me as well as my references! All the rest of my work is on my bujo. I'm spending so much time on a computer that i really tired a lot about it. So i went on analogs systems in order to avoid technology burn out!

On the 9.22 you are saying that you are giving those templates i.e., Notion Templates Mentioned and the More Notion Templates, there are not on the description on this video.
