Selling CDs would be easier if u lived in New York cause there’s so much people downtown but you can also sell them when you go on vacation. Best investment and great video 👍🏽.

CDs are great! Especially at a glance they seems to give artists fair return. But think about it, with digital streaming platforms, in 20 years if someone listen to your song again, you still get the cents. In comparison, my mom still have her MLTR CD (14 songs) from 25 years ago, and probably listened to all the songs like 3000 times each song as per today. So basically if (assuming streaming platform has been around for 25 years) we multiply that with 0.003x14 songs, MLTR could have receive roughly 3 times the CD price (probably more), but instead since my mom never buy any same CD twice because she knows how to keep it safe and working, MLTR only got one third of the potential revenue (maybe less).

I still buy CDs but hate when artists sell CD-Rs and saying they are not. But that only happened once. I still think CDs are better than streaming.

Great video and this doesn't just apply to music but also video games. These days most people are downloading from online and not buying physical game disk anymore.
problem with this is you cannot lend a digital copy to a friend or family. And if the network goes down or you damage your gaming console, everything goes down the toilet...i guess same could be said about digital music ( lucky i make copies on multiple drives though) 😁
