In this video, I will show the Simple NEW Awesome Electronic Project
Human Detector Circuit.

Human Detector Circuit

This circuit is based on Darlington pair of NPN transistors. This will amplify the signal from stage to stage. This is a quad stage process for Amplification. We all know our body contains a small amount of Voltage and this circuit amplifies this small amount of voltage to the higher stage through transistor amplification.

First question: How does the capacitive sensor work? I mean it's only a piece of copper
Second question: Is Transistor Q7 necessary, couldn't you just solder the emitter from Q8 to the base from Q6?

can this be made sensitive enough to detect people 20 feet away? Will animals set it off? Will rain set it off?

this circut will work only at earth but not in space. our body picks up voltage from power lines and your circut detects it. it also works at animals if you are at home.

What is the purpose of R9? I am right in assuming you picked the value experimentally so that the base voltage for Q5 is somewhere in the range where the dimming effect on the LED is observable?

I saw some of the Honeywell Electronic Art in their magazine ads in the 60s, most of which was nonfunctional. This Art is apparently functional, which begs two questions:

1) What does it do?

2) How does it work?

How can you increase the distance of the sensitivity of this proximity sensor. How can you concentrate the directionality of the sensor. Thano you. I gather that higher rated transistors, batteries and resistors would do the trick. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
