What are your thoughts of the car? I have a 2008 KTM x-Bow 6 speed MT. It is a seasoned veteran and I have updated it through time to the highest power level and it has improved aero. Like you, I hang out with the big dogs and usually pass them. I run on hoosier A7's.
Very low maintenance cost, brake pads last 80 track days, rotors last 180 track days (both are cheap), tires last 40 heat cycles and the general upkeep, fluids, etc... is cheap and I do it myself. It has excellent reliability. Mine has 23, 500 track miles and recently checked cylinder compression and of course, it is perfect. I used to drive Porsches at the track before this car but this one is just so much fun, the 360 degrees view is awesome and it goes around fater than almost any Porsche and it is so unexpensive to run and mantain. I look forward to hear your opinion regarding your driving experience. I drove a DSG once and several car with the Hollinger but the manual is my favored choice for its simplicity amd directness.
It takes a while to understand driving the car In the correct rpm's for optimal powerband but once you dial that in, it is amazing. You were looking very good out there.
