When I was a kid, I always thought that Monster Blood looked like it would be fun to play with! Until it decided to come to life and try to eat me. Also I find it creepy it apparently feels warm instead of cold.

I’m seeing some parallels here. A regenerative gelatinous monster with low aptitude and impressive magical properties being controlled by a powerful magic user who it eventually destroys.

When free from the magic users control it’s a complete loose canon that eats people for fun because it doesn’t know any better.

It also has the ability to absorb people into its mass and hold them prisoner within itself.

Majin Buu and Babbidi in a nutshell.

The only thing missing basically is the redemption story.
