Yup. It's one reason why many Asian countries have such great love for the dish. It was freely given out by troops following WWII as a source of meat in ravaged areas.

Spam is my guilty pleasure. Its one of those things you're not suppose to say you like, but I grew up on it and its still comforting to have egg battered fried spam once in a while that my mom used to make for my packed lunch for school.

I am from the home of SPAM, good ol' Minnesota and I do enjoy it. I would really like to try Budae Jjigae. I also liked your first "Are ya hungry" start to your video. With an eye patch, you would bring alive the pirate within. Thanks man!!!

Thanks! We have several different varieties here (knock-offs). The taste of spam in the stew is totally different!

thanks Steve! I left a question on "How much for a gym?" video you made if you could answer if you have the time (thought it would be more appropriate for it to be over there). Thank you very much again!

Do I like Spam? Yep. Especially when it's sliced thick, fried extra crisp, and served with lots of mustard between two nice and hot slices of toast. That, and a cold Pepsi on the side makes for a perfect lunch.

No, wasn't able to fit it in while I was there... hopefully next time.

;-) It's not that unhealthy! Besides, one can always substitute the meat!

We are very fortunate to be able to have so many great restaurants so close to home. I hope you'll be able to visit in a year or two and get your fix of the "real stuff".

Usually fried with sunny side up eggs. It makes a great breakfast.

I always keep a can or two of Spam lying around for when the meat runs out or when I want something quick... I especially like garlic Spam LOL and hot dogs go with my can of beans every couple of days... It's cheap and good protein!
