Second, I just thought it was funny that Henry was avoiding the question. I know that he probably has painted many armies, but the way he talked made me think that he only got one Custodes finished so far while the pile of shame was looking at him.

It was all in good faith, I have my own pile of shame too. No need to be upset.

Blows my mind how some people can’t believe you can have a hobby that doesn’t involve alcohol. I personally don’t play Warhammer, but I can still see how people can get into it and enjoy the process of making the figures and then having epic table top battles with them. Beats a hangover any day of the week

For those who dont understand the "Grey Pile Of Shame" is the ever growing pile of unpainted miniatures you own. Basically you buy ones you like and never get along to painting them and eventually you have a huge stock of unpainted miniatures which are usually grey when unpainted. Hes not saying hes only painted one hes just saying that he owns way more unpainted ones than painted ones

25 years ago, i had a fantasy goblin army. Over 2000 night gobbos, 500 forest gobbos, close to 3200 models in total, all painted....gave them up years ago to a store....but I still got my pewter skarsnik and gobbla....

I think you're wrong.
He didn't paint just one, he painted many. But he didn't want to come over as a rich person who could easily spend the money most of us dream of investing in our hobbies. And instead talked about something we do share, our unpainted mini's.
