The mystery packs is a scam from companies to sell overstock cards. so it's not worth to buy them right? and which card companies is worth buying? I've seen so many like Panini, Topps, Prizims etc. it's too overwhelming so I haven't started

I just reviewed a 300 dollar chase pack on eBay called TRI-AUTO HIT packs and inside was a Ricky Henderson rookie, a Nolan Ryan auto numbered to 28 a Ryan mountcastle auto /5 and a Michael manning rookie numbered to 25 plus a base O’Neil Cruz auto and a Shohei ohtani /25 from this year. All for 300. Plus 10 base rookies of all the modern greats. Ohtani, judge, Soto etc .. my question is… was it worth 300?
