Nice video but your choices add hefty weight for a traveling senior past his seventies and who was a former techie. The iPad Mini with Apple pencil works fine for me as it complements my M2 MacBook Air 13" notebook when I'm not working at a table. I do sketching, e-reading, and scribbling notes and it functions as my notebook's touchpad as well. I suffer no dull moment when I go on long-haul trips with both in my backpack.

I would have normally gone for the Galaxy S8+, but the real problem with tablets at that price is that you can’t just buy them for gaming or images. You must have the ability to work, and that’s the problem with Android devices. That’s why I think I would go for the Surface 9.

If a surface pro is one of the best tablets, ASUS's ROG Flow Z13 should be ranked above it. In my experience, surface pro cannot give much productivity, it is slow and battery life is more or less the same as other windows tablets.
