Wrap once around a pair of pliers, hold the tail while you pull, let off the tail to slide the pliers and loop back up and repeat. Like the one dude said, soft hands brother

Works pretty well. If you use it to pull fish tapes the abrasive surface on the camber lock wears down and stops gripping though.

Only problem with this is, if it's in contact with existing cables, it can cause damage by rubbing against other cables...

Wrap it around a piece of EMT and do the same thing.

Okay so we're presuming that you're pulling a rope/tape/ribbon or "Old Wire" something similar. This should work with Fish Steel as well but, for use on a regular basis probably not? If I knew I was going to be on a large job with a lot of retrofit pulls on that floor then possibly. I do like a lot of other products from Rack-A-Tiers though I don't need another piece of Occasional Equipment in a Service Truck or Van🤔

Never had an issue with the normal way. Hell all 100% of mine all 50-100-150 etc foot I’ve always just done bare handed. Not sure what all the nonsense is. But whatever floats ya boat

Cool, but I've used a piece of pipe all these years. now all these baby tools are made for soft people. My dinasour ways got the job done over 33 years.
