Kevin Spacey was literally House of Cards. I forced myself to watch season 6 but just couldn't make it past the amount of cringe after 10 minutes of the first episode and left it there. The allegations might be true, but for me, he still was a phenomenal actor. It's sad that it had to go this way.

Season 6 of House of Cards was about as good as the last episode of Game of Thrones. Two amazing series undone in the end.

Claire went from being my favorite character to the most annoying one. The last season was garbage. Spacey is obviously a talented but severely damaged person. After all the allegations came to light there was no way the show could have continued with him as the lead. It would have been better to cancel it right then and there.
Should Spacey come back as an actor? I'm not sure I can judge that, but he's literally won every single case that was presented against him. The court of public opinion isn't the same as a court of law, but all people deserve the presumption of innocence. He beat the New York case because the accusers story had more holes than Swiss cheese. That doesn't mean he was lying, but if you're going to sue someone and ruin their reputation, you should at least nail down the details.

Whether you think Kevin Spacey is guilty or not, NONE of us should be comfortable with the fact that he was fired before being convicted of anything. It should disturb all of us that we are living in a world where people are losing their jobs because of accusations before any convictions. That is a very very dangerous precedent.

Kevin spacey stays in character until the post wrap interviews are done. Since he hasn't done that yet, he's still in character to this day.

I devoured House of Cards as soon as I could, watching faithfully each year when the seasons were released. I couldn't bear myself to watch season six. Without Kevin Spacey it felt like a rushed, bullshit fan fiction of what could, and should have been House of Cards final season.
I just yesterday finished watching seasons 1-5 with the intention of watching the sixth season as well, but I can't bring myself to do it.

Wouldn't it be fantastic to have season 6 with its original script and with Kevin Spacey again present. It could serve as an apology to the one who carried the series also; he should never have been banned in the first place; isn't someone innocent until proven guilty? Come on, even in House of Cards that principle would be upheld!
