😮😮as a kid, I was a tomboy who wanted to be like my brothers. Puberty was hard, but it was worth it. As an adult, I am so happy that no one messed up my body. I grew into a very feminine wife and mother.

I'm a woman with cancer. I have to take medication that blocks all my female hormone production because hormones make my cancer grow. Being a woman and being denied female hormones is horrendous. Without female hormones, women's bodies don't function. Those poor girls will experience painful repeated bladder infections and possible incontinence because estrogen is needed for bladder health. They will have painful joints and insomnia, and their hair will thin. Most worryingly, they WILL develop osteoporosis as estrogen is needed for women's bones. The side effects of hormone blockers are so horrible that over a third of women stop taking them and would rather have cancer. Yet these are the drugs they are given out like sweets to confused children. These girls will suffer life-long consequences. The damage is not reversible. It makes me physically ill to think of young girls being subjected to this. Any parent or doctor who allows this is guilty of child abuse and assault.
