I will always find funny how they pick the first boss in super mario for these things, instead of the one at the last castle

For the first one (at the intro), people shouldn't forget the fact that Sonic is as compatible and able to perform Chaos Control as Shadow with one Emerald.
Just that those kind of tricks don't really suit him and he won't show us anytime soon. He's rather more physical.

That smirk at 0:16....man, Bowser's punching WAY above his weight dealing with Sonic. Unlike Mario and Luigi, who've been historically skittish, and have appeared to cowed to Bowser, Sonic has no fear, and matches Bowser in terms of attitude all day long.

If someone could drive Bowser mentally insane, Sonic would take care of that within 6 hours.

And this is probably why crossovers between Sonic and Mario have been limited to Smash and the Olympics. Sonic would be OP in the Mario series! :D (I could've sworn Level Up had a video named that on his personal account...)
