The Gender Equality Index - what is it?

The Gender Equality Index is a tool to measure the progress of gender equality in the EU, developed by the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE). It gives more visibility to areas that need improvement and ultimately supports policy makers to design more effective gender equality measures.
The Gender Equality Index gives the EU and the Member States a score from 1 to 100. A score of 100 would mean that a country had reached full equality between women and men.

Soy Rosa zucchi y fundé un hogar para madres víctimas de violencia de género. Lamentablemente en estos momentos en mí país Argentina tenemos un gobierno totalitario que eliminó el ministerio de la mujer y todo lo que tenga que ver con las mujeres y diversidades, incluso de ha prohibido el uso de lenguaje inclusivo. Es muy difícil lograr una equidad para las mujeres en un país con estás piticas retrógradas y machistas
