Biomutant Is Rough And Tough In Many Ways (Review)

“A post-apocalyptic kung-fu fable.” Those were the words chosen to describe a new game from Swedish studio Experiment 101. For the last several years, this studio of former Avalanche Studios developers have been toiling away at their very first game - an open world action RPG where players take control of their own humanoid rodent and explore a land brimming with nature and plagued by the industrial fingers of its predecessors. I've heard a lot of reviews and most are in the middle of terms of being good or bad. I've agreed with a lot of your opinions and trust your inputs -- this all said, I'm looking forward to this. Never expected a groundbreaking game and overall this seems like something I'd be content with spending hours to roam around in.

This game tics a lot of boxes for me. There's a certain type of gamer that will really really love this game. I didnt really expect to like it, and wasn't really hyped because I usually don't like cartoonish type games, but I found myself loving it more the more hours I put in. Stupid fun.

So far really loving it honestly, as their first game I’m exited for the next, I really like the world and want to learn more about the lore, the monsters and the funny names are so cute it feels very light and cuddly, but it’s so fun I would absolutely love a sequel especially if they had a bigger team and changed some things and maybe made the choices a little more grey instead of so black and white most of the time

I honestly feel kinda bad for the game and developers because earlier this game was sitting at mostly negative reviews and now it's at mixed, I think majority of it was people overhyped the game but if you go in without low expectations you will most likely have a good time and I hope they pull a no man's sky and continue development on this game to make it much better
