Kim Kardashian calls on California Gov. Gavin Newsom to pay incarcerated firefighters more. They're making up to $10.24 a day plus $1 for every hour, many of them working 24 to 48 hour shifts. Inmates are not forced to do this. It's a voluntary program that helps inmates get jobs as firefighters after prison.
