What a relief to find someone who agrees with me on Mary Janes. (I haven't found many of us out there in the style-boards) Whether flat or heels, I have never liked how they cut the foot and 'stumpify' my leg. No harm to those that love them, but like you said, just because it's on a runway doesn't mean we need to ignore our own style preferences. Great list!

I agree with you about the trends, I'd like only to add one point about raffia bags: they "chafe" the fabrics of our clothes. If you are lucky, you can find one with a back made from another material as canvas or vegan leather. I don't understand why not more manufacturers go for this option which spares our clothes from damage by pilling.

Love the raffia bags! Agree about micro-minis. I have good legs and I like skirts just above the knee, but also floaty midis. But a micro-mini at my age would be a case of what my Dad used to call Mutton Dressed as Lamb.
