Bjergsen’s play style has changed over his career and I don’t know if I like it. He used to play aggressively and play to win games. Over his evolution, his play style has changed to play “perfectly” or rather not to make mistakes. I think that approach handicaps him from finding success at the highest level including the international level.

This will off-season has the potential to be very exciting. Other LCS teams picking up TL pieces could bring up the overall level of the LCS.

I got the ugliest smile on my face when you suggested CoreJJ going to C9, but i love the current iteration of the team and all their personalities so while losing Zven would make me incredibly sad i think Core MIGHT be a perfect pick as long as berserker is willing to be weakside while Core would go make plays with blaber

As a tl fan I really hope Steve doesn't double down on a mistake and make it worse. This was only the second time I felt really bad about a move he has made from the start and I hope they don't lose core.

Man when you said the possibility for Zven going to EG. I would love that but man I feel so bad for Danny, I hope he comes back whenever he feels better.

great job doing this breakdown on the scenarios and situation, one of my favorite of these you have done

in a lot of ways, TL this year gives me vibes of 2021 G2. I also expect TL to bring up some young guys while keeping some of their more experienced players and have similar success next year the same way G2 bounced back in 2022

I think in this scenario, it probably would be best to let Core go since you have a strong bot lane that you can move up from Academy. I don’t necessarily even think that they should keep Bjerg either. It just makes sense that since you have the bot lane ready to move up, and Hans is already supposedly leaving, move them up and let Core go too.

Core has been the reason I cheer for TL. Hope he doesn't leave

logtistics talk is very interesting in this situation. I think most people that aren't bjergson fans probably think core is the better option to build around but the question of how much money did they lose this year not making it to worlds will they be able to afford it

kick em both for T1 and Dom. Unbeatable synergy.

I feel like that ADC needs to change on TL.
He never go in team fights when needed.. GET DL IN THERE

If you send Zven to EG, you have the Zven and Vulcan bot lane again. Not sure if Vulcan would be happy with that tbh.

Beserker CoreJJ would be a hella hype bot lane though. No more language barrier too

I'm really thorn between the two, but I would stick with Core if I had to choose, mainly due to the sunken cost and brand face after so many years.
And I'm not gonna lie, just the thought of Core + Berserker duo terrifies me.

If you really want to game it, also think about the opportunity cost of not having Bjerg or Core on TL next year. If Core goes to another team, like C9, I don't think anyone would argue he is a massive upgrade barring other team view issues. Steve could unintentionally create the C9 super team and I don't know if that's the smartest decision.

I would be incredibly disappointed if Zven took Danny’s place

Great video on a topic made spicy by Travis of Travis Gafford industries!
FYI I’m pretty sure Yeon rhymes with ‘won’ for pronunciation since he’s ethnically Korean. Same Korean vowel as ‘pyun’ in jojopyun.

From a player performance perspective I think they are comparable. However CoreJJ is a franchise player and they have built plenty of successful rosters around him in the past. To add insult to injury, Jensen making worlds after getting kicked for Bjerg just looks bad. Overall if Steve is looking to salvage fan sentiment after this failure, Bjerg is a much greater risk between the 2. On the other hand, it kind of doesn't matter who they go for as long as they start winning again next split.

Hans sama was for sure slumping. Not being able to press his flash key has nothing to do with team synergy, he was simply playing bad

I got my dad that Dune book for his birthday a couple years back. It's such a cool edition!
