Cadillac CTS Traction & Stabilitrak OFF

This is how you turn off both traction control and Stabilitrak on a 2nd generation Cadillac CTS.

So turn one or both features off allows for a little more speed? Would the tires burn much while car is taking off?

I see this video got posted 5yrs ago, but I hope you see this comment and can give me a good starting point. I have a 2010 RWD CTS 3.0L Performance package with 70, 000 miles. This winter, if there is enough wet snow/slush out on the roads. My car goes into engine reduced power, I get the service stabilitrak, traction control is off and abs lights all at once. My speedometer and rpm needles on the cluster panel will start jumping back and forth, and my doors will lock and unlock. When I shut the engine off and attempt to start the vehicle, I get power, and all lights and radio will turn on, yet the starter will get no signal. If I pull the starter relay out and put it back in (same one), the car will start right back up as if nothing was wrong. I apologize for the lengthy question. My drain tubes are clear of any clogs, and my floors are dry also underneath the carpet.

2nd generation is only one year/ 2003.
Gen 2.1 / 2004 - 2007.

does this fix the stabilitrak problem on the dashboard? or is that somwthing to do with the wheelhub?

I've read owner comments that say when the
stabilitrack sensor fails, the right brake almost
locks up totally. They say its

dangerous, locking up, veering them to the right.

Does the stabilitrak affect the way the car accelerates ? When I he the gas from a stop it seems like there’s a governor .

Mine popped up service awd, stabilitrak and traction control all at once? It's the first day it's been over 60 in a long time and I washed my car about 5 miles before this happened. Didn't feel a jolt or anything? Any ideas?

Huh. My 2009 cts has the EXACT same dash and console... weird...

Your information was good but you don’t say where to look to ensure what you’re doing is right and you can’t see the dashboard to see what is actually happening
