How do we know that dust mites and bed bugs are actually killed? I am assuming you have to vacuum mattresses, furniture, floors to get rid of all dead bed bugs and mites, right?

Thanks for keeping it smart and simple. Are the different minutes for larger areas? And placement? How does that affect it's usefulness? For example, place it on the bed in a bedroom or on the floor in the bedroom? How about disinfecting under the bed? Any comments on the effectiveness??? Thank YOU

Mine stopped working after 13 months. I dont keep it plugged in if I am not using it, and suddenly it signals a wierd beeping and then a flash then turns completely off. The company offered no help to fix or replace. They suggested that I buy a new bulb for $30 and when that didnt work they offered me 10% off to buy another. Mind you my inital.purchase was for 3 tower units. It worked while it lasted but I wouldnt buy again. Doesnt seem worth the anguish.

Woops, forgot to ask - how often should you disinfect a room? I guess how frequently the room is used?

2 questions. The Lumivyx model I just rec'd, did NOT come with a manual. (Red flag) I inadvertently snapped the frame together, not realizing the lamp should be installed prior to snapping base together. Now I can't figure out how to get it apart to install the bulb...which one would have to do to replace the bulb, right? 2nd question, I read that after the time you selected ends, the light will turn off BUT will keep beeping until the switch gets turned off. Really?
It says to stay out of the room for 30 minutes after...so does it keep beeping all that time??? I'm concerned about my neighbors hearing the beeping.
The Lumivyx packaging is cheap and VERY evasive and there is no contact information whatsoever on the box. I appreciate any feedback. Thanks!
