I'm super pumped for this. New cast is a great way to start fresh while keeping the robots we all love.

There are gonna be serious upgrades obviously, but ones that are both practical and long lasting I'm efficiency (due to alien future tech). I see it introducing the human species and earth into the galactic concept of life, and not just the solar system way of thought we are currently stuck in it seems.

Wow, I thought we only had reboots and remakes, but Bay now creates a new concept "Redesign" movies!!!

One thing I remember from watching Transformers as a young one, was an episode where the Transformers were all fighting on Cybertron. Cybertron then woke up and emitted some sort of emp or something which completely redesigned everything about the transformers which led into a new series. Bay may be doing this?

i personally loved all 3 movies, idk why some people never liked em. okay it had a lot of explosions what do you expect its michael bay, and theres nothing wrong with explosions it was so epic, transformers was part of my childhood so i just love anything transformers

As long as we focus on the giant robots instead of the small squishy people, i'm good with what ever they do with the redesign. and maybe actually give some color diversity amongst the decepticons(in-movie names also).

I'm a sucker for nostalgia though so yeah it really does come down to opinion for this series. i can agree with you on certain things

I understand what they mean by redesign it just a change how the transformer looks and how basicly their going to bring back megatron helpfully its going to be about unicron or something.

Actually they said the same autobots u have seen are still in movie. Just newer ones being added. The way they IGN makes it sound is were going into the next Gen of Autobots already. (Hot rod, galvatron, etc.) When the truth of it is the closest rumors have just been the Dinobots getting added.

When I heard that Shia Lebouf wasn't going to be in the Transformers movies anymore, I was about to give up on them. I hated the Victoria Secret's model in the 3rd one. But now that Mark Walberg is going to be in the 4th one.... I might just give it a chance. Though I am not sure how well it will be with Mark's recent releases not being as action packed. I know this is a bit of a tangent, but I think Mark Walberg needs to go back to the movies like The Italian Job. That was a great movie!

I think it would be amazing if he could bring in the minicons or unicron! Bring back the story line of the Armada series. Also I think that if he brings back Megatron, he would need new goal, which isnt bringing back cybertron or destroying the autobots. Should be something different that he wants or needs, like energon (from the series in the 90's after armada)

as long as Optimus Prime is played by the guy from the first 3 and still looks like a badass elder than i will be watching

I hope by redesign that the transformers themselves look more like the transformers that we grew up watching and loved so that we can actually care about them to a certain degree.

It will be good. Transformers limits are endless. It's something that isn't hard to keep up unless you give the drawing pad to the wrong artist.
