Here's my crack at the lore: an Angel and his Demon counterpart designed their respective children at the same time, right next to each other. They're both disabled- their arms- and are childhood lovers. Something the Demon is mocked for by their peers. He compensates by eating lesser demons to grow stronger. The Demon grows up to be strong all on his own, while the Angel has subordinates akin to their own squad.
Then the Demon wakes up in what is likely heaven, and they're kinda nervous about that.

I love how you delivers to lore!! Sometimes it is hard to tell people what you want the others to see when there is no clear dialogue, and yet here you are! Sending a very clear meassage of characters' relationships and emotions WHILE constently keeping up with a music and beat!

I really like that the goo falling on the grey devil's eye imitates prison bars. Is that supposed to symbolise that she is under control of the giant black demon?
