Charlaine Harris is a New York Times bestselling author who has been writing for over thirty years. She was born and raised in the Mississippi River Delta area. She has written four series, and two stand-alone novels, in addition to numerous short stories, novellas, and graphic novels (cowritten with Christopher Golden). Her Sookie Stackhouse books have appeared in twenty-five different languages and on many bestseller lists. They're also the basis of the HBO series True Blood. Harris now lives in Texas, and when she is not writing her own books, she reads omnivorously. Her house is full of rescue dogs.
Despite her Massachusetts address, Toni L.P. Kelner is a bona fide Southerner, with a double name (Toni Leigh), a slew of relatives scattered throughout North Carolina, and the accent to prove it. Toni is the author of the Laura Fleming mysteries and the "Where are they now?" series, and as Leigh Perry, writes the Family Skeleton mysteries. Toni is also the co-editor of seven urban fantasy anthologies with Charlaine Harris, and has published a number of short -stories. She's won an Agatha Award and a RT Book Review Career Achievement Award, and has been nominated multiple times for the Anthony, the Macavity, and the -Derringer.
Toni grew up in northern Florida and North Carolina, and currently lives near Boston with her husband, fellow author Stephen P. Kelner, Jr.; their two daughters; two guinea pigs; and an ever-increasing number of books. As Leigh Perry she is is the author of the Family Skeleton Series,
