I love Howls Moving Castle! The difference is how much depth we get for the characters. Howl is very different in the book and Sophie is great in both but her story is really well thought out in the book!

Also, if you have never read 1984 (the first one) highly recommend that you do, as it is a classic for a reason.

I love Howl's Moving Castle, both movie and book, but they are two separate entities for sure. The movie is much more focused on the anti-war message than the book is, and the prince at the end of the movie plays a larger role. It's so much fun though!

The spellshop was a 5 star read for me I absolutely loved it!

I loved Dallergut Dream Department Store! It was such a fun read and it was interesting to see the way the dreams impacted the people's waking life!

I really enjoyed DallerGut Dream Department Store. I also personally feel that the Howl's Moving Castle book is better than the movie, but that's partly because I read it first and didn't realize how different the movie was going to be.

Orbital was a beautiful read, plus it has been shortlisted for the Booker Prize! Lots of gorgeous prose and metaphors. Have some ISS feed videos on in the background for the full reading experience 😊

I’ve been loving all of the autumn tbr videos coming out 😍 I read Dallergut and I was disappointed because it said an escape from reality but then it follows a retail worker, and I work in retail. So it was very much reminding me of work not feeling like an escape 😂

Thank you so much! I didn’t know how much of a classic novel reader I am until I want to read new books. Honey I haven’t been stuck in the romantic period, 1700’s to 1940’s! Almost all my favorite books are written by either really old or been passed and buried for a long time! Thanks for the new reads!!!!

'Sigh'... at this point watching any of your hauls always means I am buying at least one more book. Like, I watch hauls all the time, they are fun. Rarely do I find a book a)I haven't heard, b)I'm interested enough to go buy immediately. But as a big fan of all things speculative fiction/sci- fi its both wonderful and terrible for my TBR that you find so many cool books to recommend. 🥰BTW, currently reading the Anomaly, which I am almost 120% sure was in one of your previous hauls. Curious to hear your thoughts when you get to it. P.S. I am getting 'Orbital'. Only that one. I hope 😅

I absolutely loved Orbital. It is pure vibes though, it wouldn't do too well for people who need a strong plot. But it's truly like a love story written for Earth and I adored every second of it.

I'm extremely intrigued by "DallerGut Dream Department Store"! The cover looks so colourful and the plot sounds interesting too. Also that edition of "Howl's Moving Castle" is beautiful.

17:23 this doesn’t have any Easter eggs or spoilers for Truly Devious, but it’s a great entry point to the author’s character humor, foreboding settings, and crafty plotting. I really enjoyed it!

I loved Howl's moving castle, your Edition is so beautiful. The book is similar to the Movie in vibes but the storyline is kind of different, i found it better then the movie, i hope you will enjoy it too

So I️ love Howl’s Moving Castle (both versions). The plots are different. The characters are the same but we get a lot more depth from them in the book, and the whole like war plot in the movie is not in the book at all. The book leans more into the magic and the romance aspects, but the best part of it is getting to know the characters better.
