That moment at 0:23 when Selena was on the verge of bursting into tears because that moment of Miranda explaining how her pain and struggle kept her writing and how she wasn't expecting it to resonate with Miranda. Just a wonderful example of how these artists touch the lives of not just everyday people but fellow artists in other mediums too. Truly a beautiful moment.

Miranda's segment on this show was very powerful. She was able to speak uninterrupted about her struggles and you could tell the other guests were very moved by her story, particularly Selena who can obviously relate on a very personal level. The great thing about the Graham Norton Show is that 90% of the time it is pure comedy, however it does also allow for guests to talk about more serious issues from time to time. Great episode.

When someone is facing struggle and turmoil--whether it's physical illness or it's mental equivalent, and feels they _need_ to share some of their most personal feelings in order to somehow mitigate the pain and maybe relieve the burden, I FIRMLY believe that it's the BEST therapy to find out that your perhaps most vulnerable moment was received, and more importantly, understood by someone that _needed_ to hear it, as much as you needed to say it...
Sometimes all you _need_, is to know that you're not alone...
