Onboard camera footage shows how the Houthi attacks Malta-flagged and Greek-owned bulk carrier Zografia in Red Sea on Tuesday, using an anti-ship ballistic missile.

Zografia was sailing from Vietnam to Israel when it was struck on Tuesday. It is said to have suffered only minor damage.

The damage to the vessel is described as minor and no injuries have been reported among the crew of 24 people, which comprises three Filipinos, 20 Ukrainians and one Georgian national.

There are no Greeks onboard, a spokesperson for owner Vulcanus Technical Maritime Enterprise said.

The incident comes as the US military announced it had seized Iranian-supplied weapons bound for the Houthis during an operation last week.

The US and UK launched a wave of airstrikes against dozens of Houthi targets on 11 January following attacks by the group on shipping in the Red Sea.

The Houthis began attacking merchant vessels in November, saying they were responding to Israel's military operation in Gaza.

The Arab Muslims along North Africa and around the Red Sea have always been this way. They were attacking shipping and taking hostages and slaves for as long as Islam has been in the area.
Sheikh al-Fawzan, who was head of their council of imams and is reputedly close to MbS, said "As long there is I*lam, there will he j*had, and as long as there is j*had, there will be slavery." He went on to denounce abolitionists as apostates. The founder of his religion captured, traded and kept innumerable slaves. His holy book has many references to sex slaves. This is why the only countries where slavery is still practiced are I*lamic - Sudan, Mali, Mauritania, Libya, etc.

They may tell you it is greek owned but will not tell you who is currently operating the ship or what the contents and destination are. If it is going to Izrl then it simply a sanction. The same way way the west think they can sanction whomever they like

Going around africa will add 0.05p onto the price of a litre of diesel, companies are making record profits at the moment, they can adsorb the cost. If people in the comments keep fearmongering companies will treat you and the public as the gullible people you are presenting and put up prices.
