Looks like a fairly nice wallet. However two cards stored next to each other will confuse any reader. No additional technology required.

My backpack has a spot for RFID blocking. Suppose to put your cards there, it seems I'd be more likely hit by a pick-pocket than someone after me RFIDs.

Nice review! Of course I prevent contactless theft by not ever having any sodding money! :)

Long smell like leather....
neat that it works. I wonder what it will look like a year from now and will it still keep blocking?

I'd like to see that torn down so that we can maybe know what it is that blocks the RFID field. We could then maybe apply whatever this material is to our existing wallets, etc.

I don't think the rodent criminals are that advanced up here in Newcastle so maybe one for the future or maybe just a card sleeve with a rabid hamster with a miniature sub-machine gun glued on for extra security!

Always a good item to have if travelling tho.

I'm waiting for them to come out with a thicker one so I can carry all my old tax returns around with me

good video, you can also just use a piece of tinfoil stuck between the front and back slots of the wallet.

About the part of "not many having the technology to steal your money from this": I sometimes see TV ads for a device that's meant as a contactless payment terminal for small shops and such, maybe a bit bigger than the credit card they're supposed to talk with, and a few mm thick. I can't, for the life of me, remember the name of the thing (so much for the success of that ad 😉...), but the first of the devices you can get for almost nothing, if you need more, the price goes up to the normal level... Now, simple recipe for "Money-Grabbing On-The-Go for Baddies":

1. Get yourself one of those devices.
2. Set it up to take 24, 99 € from the presented card to an account you can get the money from (for 25€ or over the card owner has to do some kind of confirmation, under that, you don't...)
(2a. Unsolder or tape over the piezo beeper that's sure to be in there - you don't want to get caught by the incessant "success" beeping getting suspicious, after all...)
3. Go through a crowded mall and go fish for other people's money, while just brushing by them with the thing in your hand or pocket...
4. Switch your recipient account often enough, before the bank catches on to the complaint of too many people about someone stealing their money to your account...

Yes, the 24, 99 _will_ end up on the victim's account balance, together with the info you set up, and your account info, and yes, they _can_ let the bank book their money back, but if you can pull this off often enough, there will be enough people that'll never catch on to that number you pulled on them, and never will do that... (Before someone asks: no, I never tried to do that crap, and never will, but this went through a few TV consumer magazines here, warning of exactly that...)

So, yes, it's useful, alright - but I'll go with the tinfoil method, for starters 😉...
