3. They remove the new map after some time
4. Qiyana winrate goes down

It functions the same as health pickups on ARAM. Qiyana can target those with W to get the Water element.
No other "river" effects apply to the health pickup spawners.

It looks more like a stream because it's not that deep, so it makes sense that the deep ward is not working or jax can't fish in it, on the other hand Qiyana can use it because she only needs the element

PHEW, thank goodness Riot's actually considering Qiyana players with the fountain changes. Finally she won't be rendered useless any time she needs to help defend base.

There is probably a grid of invisible teemos in the actual river checking for collision to proc water walking and jax lol

ARAM does not have any water (it's icy freezing) but Qiyana still get her water W.

Even more - some areas on "real" river doesn't count as river. For example if you are in the bush on right side of midlane, and staying in the area closer to the red side mid tower, hugging the wall you didnt get any bonuses from river (like Waterwalking). It shows that river area is handmade and Riot forgot to update it.

Qiyana's ability gets the material refence from the texture so if you give the water texture rock property they will act as rocks

yknow what. i actually think the way they coded the river and all river/water based interaction is just like "u see this long path in the middle of the map here? lets call it the river and make riverwalker works on this only path here" but when on Qiyana its like "yeah yknow her ability need water to activate right? lets code her ability to interact with any water tile then" so what happened is like they make "the river" path, put a water tile on it and code riverwalker around the "river" path not a water tile then when they made this map they just copy those water tile and put em there. so Riverwalker wouldn't works because its not in "the river" path even if you are walking on water but Qiyana works because its the same water from "the river"
