Dodge Ridge Enduro - California Enduro Series - Race VLOG

Stoked to take home 5th in Men's Expert 30-39 with a final time of 18:26!

If you made it to the end you could hear my frustration as I caught up with the rider in front of me on stage 5. Sadly with about a minute of riding left I started getting into his dust and the low visibility made it hard for me to charge on. This was my best race performance and aside from that slide out and catching him I was pumped on how this race went!

This course was super challenging and unlike anything I've raced before, but with every enduro I learn more about preparation, nutrition, fitness and keeping the pace. All day I went back and forth with my good buddy Nelson and I'm glad I had him there to race with.

Dodge Ridge's trails are raw and difficult (think River Styx chute type of traction) so we all had to adjust our bikes and our riding to attack the course well.

Kudos to the Mike's Bikes Enduro Team, this was our first event where we had the whole team together and it was a blast! Ellie took 3rd in Pro Women and Jason took 4th in Junior Pro Men.

Nice bud. Those ruts are so deep, they're in shadow. I know dust doesn't show in videos much, so when the viewer does see it, you know its really bad.

BRO! That was SICK!. Floating on rocks in the trees on Stage 2! Catching up to and homing in on the rider in Stage 4! And again on Stage 5-WITH A SPILL?!! Magnificent run brother! Looking good!
