How Flutter Code becomes an App?

We all write Flutter Apps, but how does it actually run on a device. It is build on the Dart language, and uses compilers, that enable it to run on any of the different devices.

This is the first video in the Flutter University playlist, which will introduce people to the very basics of programming, especially programming in dart!

I was expecting a more detailed video covering everything from AOT/JIT to how how flutter paints the widgets etc... It felt like the video just got over too soon. :)

There's not too much information out there on creating flutter desktop applications. Do you have any tips/resources on how flutter can access basic hardware (usb, bluetooth, etc)? For example, if I have a dll that can control an attached hardware, how do I call the dll's functions via flutter/dart? compile/build linking with the lib?
