I feel like G3 Toralei is missing a lot of details that made her unique in g1 - the short hair with those cool tiger stripes, the patch on her face, and the gloves

Gen 1 and 2 is good in their own ways, but i honestly just think G1 was just amaaazing .. like absolutely ground breaking, from commercials, to design boxes, outfits- and materials off the earlier dolls 😭 G1 also was just sooo creative, with creative monster, inner monster, and new releases all the time-

Seeing early g3 core dolls really puts into perspective how much they are improving the g3 releases it seems the designs and quality have gone up as well as learning not to produce core dolls with poly

don’t think anyone else has mentioned this here, but i’m 99% sure that the reason Frankie is now a blue skinned character instead of green is because Universal copyrighted green frankenmonsters, so no one else is allowed to have a green skinned frankenstein character, and since Nickelodeon owns the rights for g3, they had to make Frankie’s skin something other than green and they went with that blue color

As someone who’s collected monster high since I was 8 years old in 2012, I genuinely love and prefer g3 over g1 & g2. G1 was my whole childhood but g3 still managed to become my favorite, I just love it so much! Collecting g3 is also so much more fun compared to g1 as g1 prices and releases are kinda ridiculous these days. I love my g1 dolls but g3 is just so special to me and I love to be able to experience being there from the beginning yk? Now I am almost up to date with g3 releases which is insane to me as that’s something I always wanted since I was a kid with g1 and I never thought it could happen since l live in iceland, and only a tiny percentage of the g3 dolls have been sold here. But in general I just love monster high and I love everything they come out with<3
