I had a Dash cam and ended up giving to my Brother after I kept hitting the wrong buttons and messed the memory up by locking and saving videos. It only did 5 min. segments also and would loop unless you saved the segment. No stress now driving without it. Lol

Further testing of the $35 4K camera determined that YES the focal length of the camera is INCORRECT . The placement of the lens was faulty .
The camera will take OK pictures and video BUT only focuses at VERY CLOSE distances . Approx 2-3 inches away from the camera .
This is a shame because it looks like it COULD be reasonable camera for the price , but this tiny focal length makes it essentially useless now .
