WYSC: Who showed up for the debate showdown?

On today's WYSC, Hill.TV's Saagar Enjeti highlights the latest Democratic debate that took place in Houston, Texas, Thursday. Also, WYSC host Jamal Simmons interviewed Democratic candidates Sen. Cory Booker (NJ), Julian Castro, and Andrew Yang, in the spin room following the debate.

The top 3 winners from the debate in terms of internet search and engagement were 1) Andrew Yang 2) Bernie Sanders 3) Elizabeth Warren.
Coincidentally 2 out of the 3 above also were the only 2 that were polled to defeat Trump. Regardless of what the media tells you... the data is right there. These are the candidates that people are interested in.

Everybody but Bernie, Warren, and Yang should just drop out. A three way race between these 3 candidates would be far more productive, honest, and would actually move the party in a positive forward thinking direction. Which is what the Democratic Party needs. We need to purge the party of all the 3way and blue dog democrats.

It’s so funny for someone who watches this whole circus from the outside. I’m from Switzerland and I cannot understand why Andrew Yang is not the front runner already. This man is a transformative candidate who’d make an historic impact for western societies in general. He understands the issues with capitalism and globalism and has visionary solutions for the 21st century... and some people still would vote for Biden sanders or buttigieg?! I’m stunned by the level of ignorance in this election.

If the democrats would have the defeat of Trump as their primary goal, they should all gather behind me Yang ...since the first debate. But the truth is, they don’t give a shit

The freedom dividend certainly has some appeal, I just worry about the unforeseen consequences. For every transaction/negotiation you enter, the opposite party already knows you have at least an income of 1k/month. This could cause employers to underpay and other business to overcharge. Apartment complexes might artificially inflate their prices(more than usual) for example. We already have corporations in this country that underpay their employees and teach those employees how to enroll to receive federal benefits. They want the government to partially subsidize those wages.
