WH- What If - (Heathcliff ♥ Cathy) Wuthering Heights

PLEASE READ: - (Lyrics below)- for KatieDK (by request)- follows Wuthering Heights story, told in Cathy's POV. The sepia clips are the past (though not all of past is sepia, just mainly when the clock shows her thinking back in time), the blocks that show disappearing pictures are reminiscent of their loss of each other, as are the fade outs of some scenes, etc - and the rest of the symbolism is pretty self explanatory (following lyrics) or just take it as you want it. Basic story: Cathy is remembering all she lost, wishes for Heathcliff back but remembers the heartache as well. Despite it all, she goes to him, realizing the mistake she made, just as he does, though by then it's too late...and that last clip- them reunited (well, you know me by now, I can't end it totally sad for them, now can I? ;-)). Or, if you prefer tragic, fitting their story- you can think of that last part as a flashback of happier times... This is my first video to do the "new way"- with better rendering & clips - high HD - and hopefully smooth-as-silk running and easier on the eyes. :) (crossing fingers - and if it didn't work, I'll keep trying...)... Ratings & comments always appreciated and replied to, but if you rate poorly just because you don't like the movie or the song or the actors or the characters- then why are you even watching this to begin with??? *shrugs in bewilderment* Oh well- have a nice day! :) Hope you guys enjoy...

Que maravilla...pero que bonito!! Por fin lo encontré! Hacía un tiempo que había perdido de vista este vidio... pero al fin pude dar con el. Jamás hubiese imaginado que la voz de esta preciosa canción era también una actriz! He de decir que la banda sonora de la serie, me parece preciosa....pero esta canción le da "un no se que" a la historia y al vidio. Todo esto lo dijo porque de tres, es mi vidio favorito. Como encajan las escenas... la manera tan simple y bonita en que el tiempo parece retroceder y nos hace preguntarnos....que hubiese pasado si... la huida de el... la salida de ella por los paramos durante la noche... Y tantas escenas maravillosas, que al final siempre me hacen llorar de emoción. Se puede estar enamorada de una historia tan cruda y complicada?... Yo creo que si, y la razón es muy simple... Los personajes son "auténticos", como el libro y su autora. Enhorabuena.

Beautiful Honey!! I can't belive i still haven't seen this version of the movie, i'm home for a couples of weeks so this will be one movie i must see!! Kate's song was a great choise for this amazing video!!!

Thank you, Aja!! :) Yeah, that flashback transition is one of my faves to use- (have you noticed? lol) There's so many ways to customize & many flashbacks to choose! (blurryphobic! lol!) And yes- you REALLY need to watch WH! ...I was worried the clip reversal wouldn't work when I got that idea weeks ago & wrote it out then. I watched a PotO vid the other night & noticed she did a clip reversal & it looked really good! So I decided to give it a go. I'm glad it didn't come out looking silly. :)

Beautiful song choice! I remembering hearing this when it came out and being surprised by how it good it was. This song really, REALLY suits Cathy and Heathcliffe. Fantastic effects and colourings.

@PHANTOMDEPPSPONGEBOB - Oh, I've done the clip reversal before (and for putting Christine's ring back on too ;-) )- but never that many at once and all in succession. But for the lyrics it's the one thing that came to me as I was writing it all out...the preview playback is even easier to see now that I have better clips and an editable codec! You wouldn't believe how much easier so many things are. It just takes a lot longer to render and there's more steps - but it's sooo worth it. :)
