I was there on Holy Thursday 2025, arriving in Guadalajara. I just returned on April 29th and I must say that I loved this place. If you are looking for a place to go on vacation where your US money can still be worth something, this is your destination. I just fell in love so much that I said, "I can retire here as an old man." Thank you, Mexico. Thank you, Guadalajara.

Tejuino is very good, you should try it. It's slightly fermented corn, not very alcoholic; very refreshing. It's nothing like a michelada, except for the lemon, salt and chile powder that go in it. It's also healthy, good for the stomach.
