1956 Ford Black Thunderbird

The Ford Thunderbird was a rear-wheel drive automobile which was manufactured by Ford in the United States over eleven model generations from 1955 through 2005. The Thunderbird created a market niche that eventually became known as the personal luxury car.
We have a restored 1956 Ford Thunderbird here at Skyway Classics that is in gorgeous in the original color of A Raven Black with its code XB two-tone red and white vinyl upholstery, the 312 cubic inch engine with automatic transmission, Continental Kit on the rear, and the black Porthole hardtop.

Mechanical Specs

Our T-Bird is powered by a 312 cubic inch code P verified by its Trim Tag which was an optional engine over the base 292. It sends the power to the wheels through an automatic transmission.

Ours has a restored but original looking engine and compartment with the engine block, heads, and intake painted red, factory cast iron exhaust headers, all the factory correct hoses, clamps, accessories, 4-barrel carb, Thunderbird finned valve covers, Ford automatic transmission, the chrome air cleaner gets fresh air through the fully functional hood scoop, power steering, and power brakes.

The exhaust system is good and the chassis is as clean and detailed as the rest of the car which rides on 15″ body-color steel wheels with factory chrome wheel covers that wear a set of wide white sidewall tires that look great.
