Platform 9 3/4 wall effect for Hogwarts Express, Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Universal Orlando

Universal Orlando guests visiting King's Cross Station in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Diagon Alley must pass through a brick wall to enter Platform 9 3/4 to reach the Hogwarts Express train.

I love it but I wish the illusion could be carried through for when you are going through with wall yourself. It's still great though.

I wish they would have set it up so that it still looks like you're going through the wall when you yourself are walking through, instead of only looking that way when other people go through.

That is a great effect, but I wish it was set up differently. Wish it was easier to photograph yourself going through that wall.

That's a very cool way of seeing people walk through the wall to Platform 9 3/4. :)

I just thought of a really cool way to make the platform barrier in your home if you wanted to! Like through a doorway. So instead of making it a door that opens (boring and not how it works) you get those bead door curtains and instead of colourful beads you get some that are brickshaped and in the pattern of the brick wall. Then you can more or less just walk through it! Just a thought I had...

I was at WWoHP in September and didn't notice this effect when I was in line! I'll have to look for it next time I visit.
