❝Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him❞.

Imam Abu Hanifa didn't got the title Imam azam just like this, Ppl doesn't have knowledge about fiqh and the work he has done nobody can come near to that.

The great scholar of Islam, Imam Malik (RH) when asked why he was weeping said: "Allah shall judge me for what occurred from me without careful attention. Would that I be flogged for every word I uttered concerning this religion instead of all that I have uttered inadvertently using my own deduction and in discussing these issues whilst I could have refrained as others had preceded me in speaking" [Jami Bayan al-Ilm wa Fadlihi, Ibn Abdul Barr 2081]

A modern habit the Muslims have unfortunately borrowed from the nihilistic deconstructionists is removing fences when they don't know why they're there. If you aren't 100% sure of something regarding the deen, keep quiet and educate yourself on it, learn why the fence is there.

There are few people online I noticed that call themselves “salafi” slander Abu Hanifa and other scholars. Listen carefully brothers and sisters ulama have been refuting each other since the beginning of Islamic history this is nothing new but they still call each other great ulama. So stay in your lane

People think they gain a little bit knowledge and a bit of following and they are qualified to criticise the great scholars of the past. Remember, these people had millions of followers without the social media platforms you have in this day and age.

Alhamdulillah, Their works and knowledge had spread all over the world. As a result, Allah swt has granted all these A-Immah izzah that these critics will never get.

I believe that people are becoming more self conscious about how they approach knowledge. People are becoming more careful of just accepting a statement from some person on YouTube without checking the evidences themselves. Alhamdulilah. Makes it more difficult for those who make dawah to deceive people to follow their understanding, while their understanding may not be the best, if not wrong. Continue to read, and most importantly understand what you are reading, and be firm upon that, even if the people dissociate from you, abandoned you. This is Salafiyyah. Always question those whom you take knowledge from, and do not become content with blind following, or not being given a sufficient answer.

Sheikh Al-Islam Ibnu Taymiyyah rahimahullaah said:

“And whoever is known for being truthful in the Ummah such that he is praised amongst different people in the Ummah (young and old, far and near) then they are the scholars of guidance. They are those lanterns giving light amidst darkness and their mistakes are few compared to their correct positions. Most of their errors are from the affairs where ijtihaad (striving to make a ruling in matters of fiqh andbranches of the religion) is permitted. They are excused (for not intending to err where the error is rejected but honour of the scholar is upheld). They are the ones who follow knowledge and justice, far away from ignorance, oppression, conjecture and what the souls desire.” [Majmu’ al-Fataawa: 11/423].

مسألة : قال الشافعي - رحمه الله - : " فأما أن يقلده فلم يجعل الله ذلك لأحد بعد رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - .

Someone asked Abu Hanifah,

“if you say something in opposition to the Book of Allah.” He replied reject my statement when it contradicts the book of Allah.” He was asked if his statement contradicts the Hadith. He replied, “reject my statement when it contradicts the saying of the Messenger of Allaah (Sallalahu Alayhee Wasallam). He was asked again how about if it opposes the statement of the companions, he replied, “Reject my statement in contradiction of the statements of the companions.” (Iqd il-Jid pg.53)

Imam Abu Hanifa was a great gift towards the Sahih Bukhari.
He was a light in the dark.
He was prophesied and people will ignore this.

What mistakes did he make? Ones that have different opinions.
