One thing I noticed about his leap is that you can still slash even after getting hooked, so certain types of stuns don’t actually cancel it completely

Jagged wall does free you from junkrat trap but you need to use it under you then cancel it

i think you can revisit (1)Petal Platform free someone from downpour, as well as(2) jjagged wall to remove yourself from root

1. have someone else get hit by downpour, then as liveweaver, petal them up; but if they're not freed when they go up, try destroying the platform and see if it frees them
2. have yourself be rooted by downpour, then use the jagged wall to lift yourself up and then break the wall and see if you can free yourself. as a bonus, you can also test if you can free an ally with this as well


also I think its worth a shot to see if Mei can free herself from being rooted by downpour by walling herself up after getting hit; if lifting doesn't free her, try breaking the wall as well

Fun fact:

You can block downpour with Reinhardt’s shield

Whenever I hear a downpour coming I quickly flick my shield up as it’s landing, and I avoid the root!
I’ve yet to try it as Sigma, but I’d say that’s plausible

Came back to post because I just experienced this — but you can plant a wall on Hammond mines. As in it is physically placed onto the mine. I think if the wall extends out and pops other mines it may break, but I had an instance it blocked my wall shot at an enemy.

2:12 Bro you barely tried the Venture burrow interactions with wall. Yeah if you just place it on the burrow it lifts them up. But if you place wall just as Venture tries to burst out of the ground it can be completely nullified. Even if it's a friendly hazard placing the wall. Lot of weird interactions going on in that scenario that I wish you would have tested.

that petal platform jagged wall update is crazy they need to decide whether that thing is solid or not already. if it can block sig ult and you can place deployables on it AND put a whole tree of life on the jagged wall you should be able to put a jagged wall on the petal platform that's only fair. wild that jagged wall doesn't negate junk trap either, given their use of that mechanic with mei's ice wall. also, if you get rooted to a petal platform that breaks while youre still cc'd, does that free you immediately, or does that root you to the ground right below the platform until the end of the duration?
