Dr. Kothary - Professor of Radiology (Interventional Radiology) at the Stanford University Medical Center
Dr. Lightfoote - Chair, Commission for Women and Diversity
Dr. Gupta - Chief Resident Mount Auburn Hospital Cambridge, Massachusetts

Original Presentation Date: 10/27/20

With recent societal issues, we wanted to have presenters discuss the question of racism in radiology. We will have a guided discussion on their experiences of racism and how to address these issues in the future. All our presenters have had impact on diversity and inclusion in radiology and we hope that their discussion brings light to the issues of racism. Racism permeates society, even in the reading room.
