MIND IN THE DOCK: CHILDREN AMIDST COVID-19
SUNDAY, 31ST MAY, 7 PM
“My son is 4 years old & is a hyperactive child, and is already difficult to manage, but in this lockdown, he has become extremely violent. Hits everyone, please help, I can’t control him physically”
“Now that exams are postponed, My 8 year old daughter has been sleeping really late, at around 4am, speaks with her friends all night or watches web-series, has no energy during the day & has headache all the time. Is it mainly because of all the Screen Time?”
“My daughter is 10, has been behaving really odd, she is an outdoor person usually and very talkative. But since she had a fight with her mama, because he pulled her hand hard, she is just completely silent. Doesn’t talk, eats very less. How can I expect her to not to talk to her uncle”
“I try to engage my son 12, in doing some activity at home or reading, but he prefers to just sit alone & not play with his elder sister. He has been recently been getting very irritable. The other day he suddenly started throwing his things around when he had an argument with his father.”
“I am a 12th Grader. My mother is just making me do these online courses, that are honestly just pointless. Our teachers are already doing so many online classes. All my friends are chilling with their families or on Insta or something! I mean, I am not a kid anymore”
