Thank you for the walkthrough. Unfortunately the link to the Amazon page says the fan is unavailable. Do you have an updated link? I tried to find my own replacement but was sent one with different screw placements.

Nice One Tim, i hate stripping them all in ones down, at least the Dell one is better made than the HP equivilant where you have to remove the screen to get to the fan and motherboard. Keep up the good work Tim

do you know the specs for that RAM? What’s a good replacement or addition to it?

Very informative and easy to follow. I have this computer and it is working fine, but about every 15-45 minutes it makes a strange motor spinning sound from a spot in the back, that I assume is the fan? Then the noise stops after about 60 seconds and it is fine, but will start again in 15-45 minutes. It seems to be getting more frequent. Is this what a failing fan sounds like? Thank you, Tim! 😀

Great Mr.Tim. I have very small question, my Lenovo legion5's fan spinning for short time when my laptop bootup and then stop for little bit and then work normally, is that normal process or abnormal and my fans should always run from bootup to shutdown without stopping
