Haha that seating logic is so stupid. At least sitting across from your companion reduces the overall awkwardness if 2 single strangers take the other seats. Then only 50% of the people feel awkward, whereas 100% would feel awkward if they are sitting across from total strangers. If 2 couples that don't know each other can sit across from one another, there is 0 awkwardness in that case. So you basically should just lie and go in there alone, then let your significant other pretend they are single so that you can sit across from each other but just pretend you're strangers LMAO.

WOW!!! 🤩That cafe at 12:47! Exactly the kind of cafe I try and seek out when travelling. Fantastic! Love that you seek out and actually find so many of these vintage gems with genuine character. It's heartwarming to see these small businesses supported. I'd miss them so much if they just ceased to exist. PS= I loved your recent series shot during a typically roasting hot summer in Tokyo; your hidden underground cafes of Asakusa's train stations etc were INCREDIBLE to see! 🤩💯💯
