I love your videos Claire, you tell it like it is! I am a gardener and enjoy watching you during the long winter nights and can't wait to start planting again and getting to harvest later in the year! My mouth is watering seeing the plumptious freshness! Keep up the good work!

Claire, yes, garden harvesting abounds. we just got about a three inch rain last night so no gardening for a couple days. It has indeed been a great year for gardens.

Have a great harvesting day.

So chuffed for you, Claire, and your beautiful harvest! Like you, I am eating so well from my second year on my first ever Lottie and loving it! I have brilliant allotmenteers around me, (lots of the old boys who try and outdo each other with their knowledge!) who are so willing to give advice and freebies! Happiness is a plot!

It really is a shame that beetroot split, it looked a beauty. Nice to catch up with you Claire and see everything you have going on the allotment. It is a feast of life :-) All the best.

Lovely! Those beetroot was exactly what I was dreaming of when sowing this year. Hope I get some next year at least. Awesome to see your harvest! Keep it up!

It's all looking really good Claire. Except you need to conquer the bindweed in the greenhouse. I suggest you try one of the glyphosate gels, which will kill it right back to its roots. It worked for me.

The root crops tend to do real nice on your plot Claire. Good stuff sister. I just had to do some clearing out in my greenhouse. The tomatoes were going crazy.

hi Claire into my first year and would love to know how you preserve. I have picked some runners as they were delicious last year pickled. I have frozen some beets and spinach and French beans and still been eating fresh but would love to see videos on how you pickle preserve jam or store especially potatoes! love your videos...have done cucameleons on your recommendation. thx

My wonky shaped heritage vegs always taste better than the store bought perfect ones, and the smell of home grown veg when cooking is amazing, people without gardens are deprived of many pleasures.

I like to let a few radishes go to seed and eat the seed pods, they are nice :-)

I pollinated my Cucamelons by hand and it seamed to work as I have 5 growing. They are on the windowsill in the house so no bees could get to them to do the job.

Hi Claire, great harvest you have there!
Have you ever grown Cucamelons outside of the greenhouse? my Cucamelon leaves are turning yellow and brown and i'm not sure why. do you know what the cause could be?

Claire, any chance on doing a video on normal cucumbers as I would like to try growing them as the supermarket ones are all plastic wrapped and I just can not find naked cucumbers in my area and I'm trying to ditch plastics. Thanks.
