The ‘68 models were gorgeous. My buddy (now deceased) had a ‘68 Catalina convertible — fire engine red with a white top. The car was totaled when he hit a piano that had fallen off a flatbed truck. He said the last thing he remembered before waking up in the hospital was “all those keys”.

Very nice! I bought one of these in the late 90s for 1200 bucks and began to restore it. Then some a hole talking on a cell phone t boned me and totaled it. I got 7 g from the insurance company.

That was our family car when I was a kid. Then my dad gave it to my older brother. For a big car that car would get up n run. Nice car

One thing I love about cars pre 2010 is how comfortable the seats were because the headrests were small and comfortable. Not these huge hard as a rock things they call headrests in cars today. Makes me want to buy a beatiful old classic like this.

I hade a 1965 Catalina loved that car quarters were shorter I believe and didn't have the wheel well skirts
